Does anyone know if and when MetroPCS is going to come to New York City area?

MetroPCS is coming to New York. The company should be up and running sometime next year(08) around oct. time. quiet... its suppose to be a secret well maybe not! http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/im...ons/icon10.gif

A regional carrier in NYC? I really hope not. It will take years and years and years for any new carrier to successfuly build out a useable and decent network.

Well Yankees, look at Metro PCS and how fast they are building out in LA, California!

I think they can do it. Although they are not personally for me; many people would like to sign up for them in the Bonx and Brooklyn. But not much as for the business people.

They will service from New York north upto Boston.

Well, good luck to them. May the next 100,000 sites they put up in NYC be quick and easy.
