Thumbs up Blackberry Pearl

The blackberry Pearl is now coming to Cellular One! I just went and look at their phone selection and it was on there. Cellone has been adding a lot of new phones lately, and I hope they will be adding some more!!

I saw review of it and it said that after a few weeks the rubberized keypad got loose and lost some of it's sensitivity. Has anyone else had this problem?

yep has backlight, only thing I dont like is they got rid of the scroll wheel and put a mouse on the key pad. I like the 8800 better. I wish I could trade mine in for an EDGE capable blackberry. by 7100 is awesome but slow when browsing.

Depending on your market and data prices. I am also a cell one tech in Texas. I have a personal BB 8700. I have unlimited data and 1000 minutes voice, my monthly bill is about 100 buckaroos.

I sounds like you got a GPRS version, it will be a little slower that the pearl or 8800 which are EDGE capable. You will like the Blackberry.

Never mind I looked it up, according to Blackberrys website its EDGE. I thought the g on the end of 8700 was to signify that it was a GPRS device.

Oh man, that sucks. Did you have insurance on it??? If I ever leave my Blackberry in my truck, I always hide it under and/or in something (ie: glove compartment....)
