Hi I have question for those of you have know about SIEMENS SF65. I want to find out whether or not SIEMENS SF65 is GSM and will be available in US? 'cause I really like that phone. See link below: http://www.siemens-mobile.com/cds/fr...0.html#content |

I'd be willing to bet that it's GSM. Siemens is not a company that I see making CDMA handsets. As for a US release, your guess is as good as mine.

From that page. "The SF65 will be available from December 2004 across Europe and Asia." With that said I doubt it will be sold in the US. With Siemens anything ending in a 5 is for Euope or Asia. If it is a tri mode their is a slight chance that T-Mobile may pick it up, and I mean slight.

Thank you for your reply. I also think that siemens doesn't make cdma phone. but then again... siemens products are usually marketed somewhere else other than US. Since it will be available in Eur and Asia - more likely that sf65 is dual-band. But then.. who know. Let just hope that it will be tri-band GSM (US). Such a cool phone.. 100% 1.3 Mega pix cam. and 100% cellphone!!! how cool. |

Once it is available, you can see if a 3rd party reseller will have it. Only drawback would probably be the price as international phones aren't cheap.
