I just got a Sanyo SCP 5300 and I am trying to figure out how to save my downloaded games. I love the phone but am kinda pissed that games like Monkey ball only last for 30 days? Even after I pay $4! It doesnt really make sense that I should have to pay $4 every month to keep playing this game. Are there ANY games that I can download that will NOT expire after 30 days or is this just the Sprint curse? Also does anyone know how to change the main screen on the cell phone when it starts? Normally it has a blank white screen Thanks |

Non-Sprint games exist that do not expire. I would try sites like these: http://www.javascript-games.org/pers...one_games.html http://www.midlet.org/jsp/index.jsp http://www.jams.to http://www.spruce.jp/freemidlets http://www.microjava.com http://www.midletgames.de http://www.midletcentral.com |

Sure, I've downloaded a number of these to my 4900. You can visit the sites directly for downloading (visit http://www.CraigGiven.com/pcs.htm and follow the links to "Games & Applications"). Although a silly waste of time, you can also download them to a computer, and then upload them onto a site like PCSpix.com, myPhoneFiles.com, etc. But not everyone supports the JAD files (I know PCSpix.com does). But it might be more convenient for you if you erase them from your phone's memory and reload them on a frequent basis. Then a download service makes a convenient storage location to hold them while they're not in the phone. Then you don't have to remember where you originally acquired them. |
