I have the Motorola v60c. I currently am with Verizon but want to switch services and everyone sells this phone but b/c it's Verizon's phone w/it's logo on it, I have to buy a new phone. First off, I don't think that's fair and is that legal? Secondly, is there a way I could get away with it (as in could I still use that phone w/another service provider)? If not, can someone tell me what my best options are? Thanks in advance.

well usually you have to purchase a new phone when you change service providors. is your contract almost up? i would say switch to sprint (based on hours of reading threads on this forum) its not illegal for a service provider to make you buy thier phone.
