I have had vision for 2 and a half weeks now and have been able to log in via my phone however I cannot access the system through my computer. Before you log in you have to set a vision password by accessing your account online, which i can do, then go to my setting and prefrences and choose an icon for changing vision password, [b]which i cannot get.[b] Was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue. I would like to go online and use my vision services to good use but I can't do to this problem. I have contacted Sprint pcs cs but cannot get an answer or solution. help....... |

Join the club. I've been after them for a month about this. The problem seems to have arisen when they converted standard PCS user accounts over to Vision accounts. The web site is not giving us the option to create a password and they STILL haven't figured out how to fix it. I recently received a letter from them saying that all will be well after October 25th, so we'll have to wait and see. In the meantime, you might want to check out the following web sites: http://www.matrixm.com/ http://pcspix.com/ (CHECK OUT THE ALTERNATE MUSIC, GRAPHICS, AND GAMES SITES LISTED AT THE TOP!) These sites have tons of free wallpapers and ring tones for you to download into your phone, as well as instructions on how to make your own. In theory, getting the data cable for your phone will also allow you to send ringers, graphics, and applications to your phone without using the Vision netowrk at all. Good luck! |

I just found out from someone at sprint pcs that the date in which the fix will be pushed back to November 4th or 5th. At this rate it will be christmas by the time this thing works.

First.....Call Sprint and ask to speak with a <u>3G TECHNICIAN</u>. From the sprint website, sign on, go to my profile, setting, preferences. If the icon that says "Change PCS Vision User Name & PCS Vision Password" is NOT there, I repeat, NOT THERE, tell this to the 3G technician so he/she can reset your sprint webpage. If it is set correctly, the next time you sign on to your account and follow the above mentioned steps, you shall see it. <u>This is the ONLY way to set up a vision password, sprint CANNOT set up a vision password for you.</u> Second.....The technician, IF he/she knows what they are doing, is going to reset your phone, hopefully from start to finish. By resetting, I mean going into your phone and making sure everything to get vision to work is accessible to you; <u>this includes making sure that your phone also has an IP address available to it.</u> I have gone through this so many times until I finally reached a tech that had to clean up what the last 3 messed up. If Sprint would get their act together and share this kind of information throughout the company, they could save quite a bit of time, money and let's not forget customers' patience. Seems like all big companies have issues when it comes to information sharing.
