Default Phone taking forever to activate!!!!!!

What happens when you attempt to dial voicemail? Can you make regular phone calls? Does the phone ring on incoming calls?

call cust service. And have them verify information on your account is correct. It shouldnt take 5 hours unless they are having technical difficulties. #1 most common mistake is they entered your esn wrong. example a #8 in place of the letter B etc.

Default Phone taking forever to activate!!!!!!

This is what happened to me on my wife's new 4900. It took 3 days to get it activated and customer service didn't know what the H$% was going on. Instead of talking to them to find out. Tell them that the activation loop hasn't closed and that you would like them to push it through. You old phone probably works fine.

Now, I am not Sprint PCS support, nor am I affiliated with sprint, this is just the experience I had and how it was resolved. Use at your own risk.

Customer service told you it would be a 5 day wait? And its because they had trouble updating you to a new plan? he..he sounds like they told you whatever it took to get you to hang up and stop bugging them Good old customer service!

If i were you, i would go into the stores and make a live face to face person help you out. Have them call the technical help desk and resolve the issue for you. You shouldnt get frustrated talking to *2 morons. I cant even explain how frustrated i get when I myself have to call them. They try to feed me bull____ as well. But i put them in their place!

it shouldn't take five days for the phone to what's called provision. what must of happened is that there was interruption of programming at some point in time. the phones only take 2 hours to provision. the down fall is if you recieve a call make a call play with the phone at all during the first two hour you do screw up the programming. once that happens it does take the techs about 5 days to fix the problem once a trouble ticket has been issued. because customer service sucks you need to got to a coporate sprintpcs store and let them know of the problem.

NOT ALL OF US IN CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE MORONS.. HELL I GET MORE ATTITUDE FROM YOU GUYS THAN ANYTHING. I RARELY CALL YOU GUYS, UNLESS WHATEVER NEEDS TO BE DONE IS SOMETHING I CANT TAKE CARE OF BECAUSE OF LIMITED ACCESS.
