I currently use a Samsung N200 and for the most part, I've had good success with it. My main complaint is that when I have multiple phone numbers for an individual... my old eyes have trouble telling the difference between [M] - for mobile and (H) - for home. I swear they both look pretty close to me. The 2nd reason is, I like to have new and neat toys!! I was all set to pickup the A460 but just happend to read several places online that a lot of people were not happy with its ability to hold a weak signal or signal strenght in general. Hmmm, I'd hate to take a step backward just to get a smaller, cooler looking phone. I next ran into the A500... the display looks really nice and crisp. It's easy for me to distinguish the characters. The color is nice also (I guess I should mention I don't and won't be using my phone to browse the web). My concern about the A500 is the price. At $300, that's too rich for my blood right now. At $150 or $200, I might swing that but I'd have to examine the calling plans before taking the plung but I'd consider it. The Sanyo 6000, this one caught my eye when it first came out (seems like a long time ago but I'm sure it wasn't as long as I think). I've mostly been a flip phone guy but the Sanyo 6000 looks pretty cool. It's size and thinness would serve me just fine even without being a flip model. I played with one today in the Sprint store and found the menu system to be less than intutive (I'd of course learn to operate it but it's always nice when you can just pick up a phone and make it do what you want). I'd like to hear some opinions on the 6000... haven't really heard or read much yet. I believe it's in the $125 to $150 price range. I could sort of see it as a short term solution (3-6 months) I would have a new, interesting toy and by that time with all the new models being out, I should be able to better evaluate what makes sense for me. A lot of the new features on most phones don't interest me (games, web browsing, etc.). What do you think... sounds like a lot of you have experience with a wide variety of phones. I've had my N200 less then a year now but for some reason it feels like much longer... feels like I'm past due to get a new phone. Thanks in advance. Ken |

I've had my A500 for 3 days now, I'm not on the new 3G plans either, and I love the signal I get! yea, it's a lil too expensive, but I got it for $150, well, actually $25 cause' I traded in my A460 when Best Buy was having that computer glitch deal, so I lucked out. But I would def. get the A500, I'm lovin' mine. -Yi Chen |

I'll vote Sanyo 5150 if you need a flip, 6200 if you don't.

go with the sanyo's. heard many complaints with the a500. i would NOT pay $300 for a low quality samsung. If you dont use high speed data. get the sanyo 5150. that is a cool looking phone too
