VX1 problem - any ideas?

When I put my VX1 in the charger, it still seems to charge up, but the phone doesnt beep anymore, and the light on the base charger refuses to light up anymore. The light used to indicate if it was done charging or not. Also, the battery meter on the phone does not indicate a charged battery until after the phone is removed from the charger...

Any Ideas?

try using a different charger. my charger sometimes gives me problems. when i place it on the cradle the light will just blink and the phone will not charge. i have to force it on to the charger. i know sooner or later im going to have to get another charger. im going with the travel charger, i hear they work well. just try that out and if the samething happens then its your phone and not the charger
