Sprint pcs is launching their new 3g network within a week. I have some questions about a particular phone model. Has anyone seen, heard, or read anything on the LG5350. I know that phone is going to be released but i am trying to decide whether to get that phone or the a500. Only thing is I am hesitant to get anything made by samsung. I have been using sprint for years and all the samsung phones i have had are horrible. After the N200 i purchased my first sanyo model, the 5150. The phone is unbelievable. Gets sevice and clear undistorted calls when my friends with samsung products cant even get a signal. So i think I will steer clear of samsung, though i will give them that the a500 is one sexy phone, i need something that is small, but is gonna work. Samsung just hasnt done it for me. Handspring is also comming out with the treo for the new 3g network, a full color treo. That may be nice with the highspeed network. Just some things to keep in mind, anyone with any info please message me on here or email @lubes14@aol.com. thanks folks imbaldyidunno |

The samsung models will have an optional digital camera that can be purchased. the LG model has 40 note polyphonic capability, and the other have like 16. woo hoo. get the samsung or sanyo.

If you had bad experiences with samsungs, then you would absolutely hate the LG models. Trust me on this one (speaking from experience as a tech, and as a previous LG owner) Stick with your awesome sanyo until they come out with another sanyo model. But if you are dying to use 3G data, then change phones. Sanyo 4900 is coming out. Otherwise, your 5150 is 3G voice ready as long as you have the software update to enable it.

We just got the brochures for "PCS Vision" as Sprint calls it. Gives $ per MB of usage and everything.

The 5150 is not upgradeable to 3g data, however it is 3g voice. There will be no such update ever comming out either because the phone cannot support it. Look for the 5500 to repace it hopefully by x-mas. I expect to see it with a built in digi cam as well. Just the word from the guys i work with at sprint
