Interested in color phones they have there. My wife is visiting in next couple of months so I can just ask her to get me one. However, I am not quite sure about the compatibility of phone in US vs S. Korea.
One funny thing I noticed though is that my friend recently got a phone from local store which is not sold in US. (smaller than my VX-1, definitely lighter) LG-DM160 it was and using it with Verizon. Of course he probably doesn't have warranty, etc. But this is surely interesting. If there was any conversion done wonder what change needed to be made?
TIA. (For now I am interested in sticking to Verizon)

I haven't followed foriegn deployment of wireless. But if my memory serves me right, they are already 3G work on 4G.

I just finished reading a bunch more threads regarding "my phone is compatible, but my carrier won't put the phone on their network." This complaint has become so regular here that if I were you I would first get in writing from Verizon that they will even agree to attempt putting it on their network.
