Did a quick search on this topic but did not find anything. Sorry if this has already been covered.

I will not be using my phone for business. Just the random personal calls. What is the recommendation on the battery that comes with the v60? Should I look at upgrading it to the 800 litium? Or will I be set with the battery it comes with?

I have the 1100mAH battery and I love it!!! Lot of Juice!

Is that an after market battery offered by Motorola or by another manufacturer? And is the battery the same size as the original?

How is the original battery power (juice! lol)?

I ordered it online...Motorola sells it with the holster for like $65. It's not aftermarket...its a Motorola brand battery. I get over 10 days with it before I have to charge it and I use it frequently. It's a little big, but not tremendous. It won't fit in the holster that came with the phone. It fits in the holster they give you with the battery. It also includes an extended battery door so the battery will fit.

If you are making "random personal calls", it sounds like you won't be using the phone all that much. I guess it really depends on the length of your calls. I usually get gotten 1.5 to 2 hours of talk time on the slim battery that comes with the phone - mine is a v60c. If most of your time is standby, it should last a few days.
