I finally saw the phone in all its wonderful working glory. This thing is sweet! Color screen, palm software, and lightweight. There is one thing that I have heard about the phone and that is that it has no analog function. Its only dual mode, 800/1900 digital. If that is true, it will be a major bummer, but I guess ill find out as soon as im allowed to actually demo one.

I'm pretty sure there's no analog, but it is 1X. Also it runs Microsoft for Pocket PC 2002 OS, not Palm software. Pretty neat gadget, but I'm not ready to give up the analog option yet. |

It's not that they are "getting rid of analog," it's just not available on this phone. With the exception of the Kyocera 6035, all the new smart phones are digital only. I think they are assuming people who really want these phones/pdas will be well covered digital areas and not so concerned about analog. I'm in a 1X market, but I travel to a lot of places that "are off the beaten path" where I still really need the analog. I'm interested in combining my phone and pda, but I just don't see it happening for quite awhile. |

I personally would NEVER get a phone that does not have analog backup for when I travel off the beaten path - still need analog Jack

Hello everyone............I personally got to play with the Thera about a month ago............sweet phone. It does not support analog........but it is a 1x phone. That color screen eats up the battery pretty quickly.........but who cares...........I WANT ONE!!!!!
