Larry do you know which future sprint phones will be tri mode (800 amps, 800 cdma, 1900cdma)?

Also where does Sprint have roaming agreements so that Sprint users can use the 800cdma frequency without paying roaming fees. thanks.

Yes. all the new Kyoceras, Motorolas and Audiovox's will be tri-mode. I would wait for the new Kyocera 5135 flip phone if you're thinking about going that route. Basically anywhere where Verizon and Alltel are the preferred roaming partners and have 800 CDMA in place is where you can digital 800 roam. But remember that your phone will not necessarily pick the 800 digital to roam on if the 800 analog signal is stronger. As of right now you will have to pay roaming fees for all off network roaming whether it be analog or digital. Hopefully they will reduce the rates soon.
