I think the new layout is nice. Maybe one will have a choice of color when selecting the phone?

No rebate though, but then again it won't be that much. Probably $20.00 at the most.

Tony,

Was that $50 off a 1 year or 2 year agreement? Either way it equals an inexpensive phone.

Print the newsletter that Verizonicon posted and take it to the store with you.

Thanks tony, I'll give that to my stepdad. He's using NE2 for his work phone anyway, but maybe they'll give him a holster or something instead, I dunno.

I wonder how CC is going to price it? If I stay with Verizonicon, I most likely will update my phone there, but I am only considering the slider or a530.

Yeah, everyone at work really likes the Slider, like i said it's not the best keypad layout in the world, but it's a fun phone, and so far haven't dropped any calls, i like it, it'll hold me off 'til Verizonicon start rolling out the Superphones like some called them.
I'm sure CC will have good prices to compete with Verizonicon stores, i hear Radio Shack it's also selling it.

What about the blue Slider showing on their website. I mean, are these guys on the pipe or what? How hard is it to post the correct graphic of a phone?
With my black L6 and wireless H500 ear piece, I feel like a naked boy roaming the country side.

I got it....In India, where the web development is most likely being done....(I am in I.T.) the word silver must translate to blue, that explains it.

I hear Verizonicon eventually will carry the blue version, like they did with the 4400 and 4400B.

Gotta step in here.... we don't do ANYTHING in India. Web development is done by our crackheaded employees in SoCal.

I doubt that Ceno, how well are you connected to your I.T. department? Companies do not broadcast the fact that programming is being done off shore, most of the time the majority of the employees doen't even know unless they are close to the development.

I wouldn't mind a blue Slider, just because the silver will probably be common in my area.

Yes cheap aftermarket faceplates and cheesy batteryicon with flashing lights are another option, and i can install them myself, but i rather have original faceplates, no offence buddy.
