Cool looking color non flip. I hope Verizonicon follows and releases the 8400.

I usually don't like Audiovox phones. However this new one that ALLTEL is carrying looks nice from what I can tell. I also like the low price of it. I wonder how well it performs though.

I wish Verizonicon would get Alltel's LG5450, i like the looks on that better than the 4500.

After talking with a couple good friends of mine that are alltel reps, there has been nothing but good comments about the phone. The batteryicon life is great and the signal is one of the best out of the bunch. My only complaint is that the ringers that the phone come with leave a bit to be disired but the phone itself sounds great. Hope this helps...

I just bought this phone...it looks awesome and has some awesome reception. HOWEVER, it is realllllllllly confusing. The book it came with doesn't help set up voicemail at all. It lets you have screensavers but they don't have any on there. Everybody I know who has a phone with this feature came with atleast a couple sample ones. It also doesn't have very many ringtones. I still haven't figures out the voicemail I called audiovox quit a few times today for help and I couldn't understand the people talking there, then once I got someone on the phone what they told me to do didn't work. But I do really like this phone, its my 5th and its by far the best. If you have this phone and know how to activate voicemail please help me!!

I think it probably depends on which company you use as to how you should go about setting up voice mail. I have alltel. All I had to do was dial my number(or #86) and it took me right to my voice mail. I set it up by following the directions and now when I get a voice mail it shows me a screen with a animated envelope and tells me I have voicemail.

What I don't like about it is that it won't vibrate and ring at the same time. It will do either or it will vibrate 2 times and then ring but not at the same time. Also, I can't get it to beep when a voice mail comes in. I also don't like that you can have wall paper or a screen saver but it didn't come with any samples. And it has no games--I don't really play games on my phone but I thought it should come with at least one. Another problem is that the ringer is not as loud as some others. And I don't really care for any of the rings

Overall I like the phone, it is compact, and I like the color screen. It has good sound quality, and no one complains that they can't hear me. I also really like the speaker phone option. To me the minuses with this phone are all small things.
