Default Sony Ericcson T306 - Reception & Sound

I had two previous Ericcson cell phones that worked great, so I bought two T306's. The sound quality is horrible - half the time I can't hear the person on the other line or they can't hear me. The reception is horrible. Most of the time my outgoing calls don't make it (all I hear is a "beep beep beep" and incoming calls go to my voicemail without ever ringing on my end. When I do actually get through, my calls are disconnected randomly. I literally walk around like the guy in the commercial, saying "can you hear me now" while the person on the other says "hello? hello? hello?". It is crazy. Has anyone else had this problem, and, if so, is there a way to fix it? Is it the phone (Sony Ericcson T306)? The service (T-Mobileicon)? Or, did I just get a dud?

My t306 works great....I only wish the ringtones played louder than they do. Everything else is great.

I loved my T306 too, great reception and battery life. I only sold it to help finance my T616.

Are both phones equally bad? If so, I say it's T-Mobileicon's service. If not, return it and get another. A dud does get out every so often.

    P.S. I thought T-Mobileicon used the T300 (900,1800,1900mhz) The T306 is (850,1800,1900mhz) for Cingular and AT&Ticon. I've heard bad things about the T300's reception.
