Good question, it is a sharp looking phone. With CDMA and Brew you would think Verizonicon would use it.

Yeah, it seems too cool for Verizonicon. I like the concept of flips, but prefer candybars, so this would be a good compromise IMO. I heard it might start testing on Verizonicon, but who knows if it will make it to the store. Only BORING phones are sold in the store, which is dumb.

If Verizonicon gets this phone I will switch!
I don't like flip phones, the slide looks pretty interesting.

I prefer flips as well....but would give the slider a serious look. At first glace....it makes me weak in the knees ;-)

People who have slides have reacted well to the slide function of the phone, they love them. The old 8860 and 8890 slid open, but a cover slid off the phone. these the keys slide from the phone. the nokia 7650 (900/1800 ONLY) has this and so does the siemens sl55 and people have liked them both. i think its a cool idea and would love to have one, because it gives me full access to the display, and some menu features (like a candybar) without having to open and close something.

i wish more CDMA candy bar phones were avalible (that arent motorola or audiovox)
