I purchased the USB data kit for my V60c and the CD doesn't have the driver for the phone. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anywhere to download, or can someone e-mail it to me? How useful is Motorola phone support?

HI Gizzmo,

I have v60c with USB data kit as well. I didn't have any problems installing the software. Driver is included in the CD. Which version of Windows are you running ??

I'm running Win98SE. I also tried on my home WinXP computer without success. If you could e-mail me the driver at edkimmd@earthlink.net, I'd be tremendously grateful. I don't know if it's too big to attach.

If your kit came with an old CDROMm call Mot at 800-331-6456 and speak with CC. They'll arrange to mail you a replacement CD.

I'm looking for some opinions here...

Should I purchase the USB data cable? How useful is it? Can you sync everything? Datebook included? Does it only work with MS Outlook? How fast can it connect to an Internet service provider (Not Verizon's Express Network)?

Gizzmo, contact Motorola Software Support @ 1-800-331-6456 and ask for TrueSync Technical Support. They are good at what they are doing and will get you up and running. Make sure that you have your CD, Cable, Phone and your computer infront of you when you call them.

I suggest you visit mot.com. Hope their customer service guy will help you out. Bottom line is, Motorola is not too helpful to provide customers updated driver.
